August 2020 Eclipse TarotScopes—Full Moon in Aquarius, square Uranus.

Unexpected events may require courage and the need to take action!

The Full Moon at 11˚ 45’ Aquarius on August 3^rd is forming a fixed sign T-Square with Uranus at 10˚ 38’ Taurus. With the Moon in Aquarius opposite the Sun in Leo, we are working with 11^th/5^th house energies. The eleventh house deals with group energy, friends, hopes and dreams, while the fifth house is about children, romance, and creative self-expression. We may need to juggle our need for pleasure and creativity with the needs of others, or what is best for the group. Aquarius is more concerned about what is best for the masses and than the individual. While Leo energy is “All about ME,” standing out in the crowd, getting recognition for our talents, honoring our inner child through playful activities.

The Full Moon may bring certain truths to the surface about romantic partners, friendships, or the groups we belong to at this time. We may feel the need to break free from anything that has run its course in our lives. Uranus in Taurus is about security and survival. If we have been giving our power away, we may need to reclaim it by following radical new paths. Alternately, unexpected events around money, self-worth, or survival may come up that require courage and innovative solutions.

The Full Moon is friendly to Mars in Aries. As a cycle ends or comes to completion, Mars gives us courage to take radical action toward the next step. With a square to Jupiter and Saturn, our warrior energy may be activated at this time as we fight for what we need against obstacles or blockages. Our needs may conflict with the dictates of authority figures or rules and regulations.

Mercury in Cancer opposite Saturn in Capricorn may bring power struggles or roadblocks to communication. We may receive discouraging news at this time, and/or fear speaking up or confronting those in authority. The world may seem like a cold and uncaring place as Venus in Gemini also forms an uncomfortable aspect to Saturn in Capricorn. As Venus conjuncts the North Node in Gemini, events happening in our relationships or finances may seem fated.

Jupiter in Capricorn is still in close proximity to Pluto as he moves toward a sextile to Neptune in Pisces. This aspect can bring hope and good fortune as we try to manifest a vision or dream. We must have faith in our abilities, and in a higher power, as we work to manifest change—transforming our lives for the better.

Be ready for whatever comes flying in from left field at this Full Moon, and have the courage to face any truths that may surface. Through innovative, positive thinking, and quick action, we may find ourselves embracing radical new paths. As the old saying goes, “Seek the truth, and the truth will set you free!”
