Welcome to your August 2018 LOVE TarotScope — A Solar Eclipse and Grand Earth Trine bring new beginnings and abundance!
With Mercury, Mars, and Saturn in retrograde motion as August begins, and Uranus going retrograde on August 7th, we may feel glued to the sidewalk! We may still be recovering from surprise events brought by the July eclipses in Cancer and Aquarius. Another New Moon Solar Eclipse at 18 degrees Leo happens on August 11th! This eclipse is conjunct Mercury in Leo, square Jupiter in Scorpio, and in a tense aspect to Pluto in Capricorn. This New Moon is all about communication, romance, children, and creative projects. We will have a powerful opportunity to create new ways of expressing our talents, honoring our inner child, or getting recognized for our unique gifts. Eclipse energy can be in effect for up to six months and be a continuation of the theme from last year’s Solar Eclipse in Leo, and the Full Moon eclipse in Leo last January!
Jupiter in Scorpio may cause us to be overly optimistic and take on more than we can handle. We must be careful not to speak recklessly or push our luck with authority figures this month, as Pluto in Capricorn can bring power struggles, control dramas, or manipulation. Yet, if there is something that needs to be said at this time, we must speak our truth.
If we are involved in creative projects, they will get support from a favorable Jupiter trine Neptune aspect. We may begin to manifest a dream at the New Moon that could begin to show results in September, when Mercury and Mars get back to forward motion on August 19th and 28th.
Mars retrograde in Aquarius is still in square aspect to Uranus retrograde at the New Moon. Hasty decisions or reactive action may not be wise. This is a good time for strategic planning, but not launching. That can happen next month when conditions are more favorable.
Saturn in Capricorn is sending solid support to Uranus in Taurus. Any ideas we begin to plan at the New Moon have a good chance of bringing success and stability to our lives in the years to come. Uranus in Taurus wants us to rethink what we value or need to feel secure. If anything is too routine or restrictive, we may pitch it for something better. Saturn in Capricorn rewards discipline, realistic thinking and hard work.
On August 26, we will have a Full Moon at 3 degrees Pisces. Anything that has been hidden from our awareness may swim to the surface from the depths of our subconscious to be faced. We may find that we have been sacrificing too much, or being victimized by “soul-sucking” relationships or situations. Truths may surface that will help us find balance and release from unhealthy habits or self-sabotaging patterns of thinking.
Venus in Libra is in a tense aspect to Pluto in Capricorn. Unhealthy relationship patterns may need to be faced and resolved at this time. We may be dealing with controlling, manipulative partnerships involving love or money. We must be careful not to play the victim, or sell our soul to keep the peace.
The Sun in Virgo will form a Grand Earth Trine with Uranus in Taurus and Saturn in Capricorn. This grounding influence can help us break free from delusional thinking to manifest a dream or goal. A Grand Earth Trine can bring easy abundance if we take action when the time is right — a gift from our guardians angels!
