New Super Moon in Aries—
A battle cry for change and freedom!
A courageous new super moon butts heads with the Sun at 18 degrees Aries on the morning of April 7, 2016, (11:24 a.m. UT / 6:24 a.m., CT). This moon joins “surprise-a-minute” Uranus at 20 degrees Aries—so who knows what will be stirred up in our lives. This unpredictable, restless energy ignites the power to launch exciting new beginnings that may rock our world.
The new super moon also revives the waning Uranus/Pluto square aspect that we have been dealing with over the past several years. If we have been held back by the smoldering, oppressive, “behind-the scenes,” manipulative energy of Pluto in Capricorn, this might be a time when we break free from the past and explode with a fearless desire to launch something both innovative and liberating—giving free rein to our unique self expression.
Supported by Saturn and Mars in Sagittarius, this super moon gifts us with the energy to broaden our horizons as we create something stable and solid. It is also a time to fight for our personal beliefs as we release any past conditioning that has been stopping us from fulfilling our true potential in the world.
Jupiter in Virgo is moving toward a favorable aspect to Pluto and a conjunction with the North Node.
