Welcome to your August 2019 Love TarotScope. We are done with the July eclipses and the Mercury retrograde period—yay!! This month begins with messenger Mercury stationing direct in Cancer on August 1st. Healing conversations will help straighten out any misunderstandings or communication mix-ups that may have come up during the retrograde period.

We will have a Full Moon at 22 degrees Aquarius on August 15, with the Sun meeting Venus at 22 Leo, and Mars nearby at 28 Leo. Pluto is also forming an awkward aspect to the Sun at 21 Capricorn. Truths may be revealed and projects completed at the Full Moon as we balance our need for self-expression with the needs of others. With the Sun, Mercury, Venus, and Mars all in Leo at the Full Moon, the need to strut our stuff and be admired will be high. Pluto may bring power struggles with authority figures or anything holding us back from shining our light into the world.

Mercury at 4 degrees Leo moves out of its shadow at the Full Moon to form a tense aspect to Uranus at 6 degrees. Unexpected communication or events from left field may surprise us, or cause conflicts as we draw fixed lines in the sand. We must choose our words carefully and get our egos out of the way to avoid arguments at this time.

Jupiter in Sagittarius moves direct on August 11, after having been retrograde since April 10, bringing luck and expansion back to the playing field. We may be anxious to move forward with our plans now that the benevolent King is back online. Uranus stations retrograde on August 12, causing us to spend the next several months rethinking our financial plans, values, and what we need to feel secure. Changes may come later in the year when he moves direct on January 1, 2020.

The New Moon at 6 degrees Virgo on August 30 is connecting with Mercury, Venus, and Mars in Virgo. It is also forming an exact trine to Uranus at 6 degrees Taurus, and a wide trine to Saturn at 14 Capricorn. This grand earth triangle can bring unexpected rewards and abundance for any sacrifices we have been making in service to others. Uranus in favorable aspect to the New Moon can bring the unexpected—so who knows what may fly in at the end of the month. Saturn in Capricorn brings stability and practical plans.
